高職高專實用英語口語大賽初賽策劃方案

　　一 宣傳工作

　　1、海報2份，由英語協會負責，在6月12日前完成，并分別放置在2棟教學樓一樓和校道。（賴春常跟進）

　　2、比賽通知由社科基礎部印制，于6月12日分別發放都各系各班。

　　3、各系組織學生報名參賽，并在本系的報名參賽學生中選派4名參加學院的競賽。

　　二 報名及統計工作

　　1、學生可于6月12日至18日期間到本系本級輔導員處報名。各系于6月19日上午10：00前將名單交到社科基礎部，過期不候。

　　2、由黃麗老師及徐雪負責統計報名人數。

　　三 經費

　　學院撥款。經費由基礎部向學院申請，社會贊助部分由英語協會負責。

　　四 競賽內容準備

　　競賽內容收集及制作由各位英語老師負責。

　　點菜就餐的典型次序是：找一張桌子坐下——看菜單－—點菜——就餐－—付錢－—離開。英語語言的表達基本上也是依照次順序。“訂餐”在英文中有兩種說 法，即　to book a table　和　make a reservation。在英國以及其它很多國家，餐廳一般劃分為吸煙區和非吸煙區。一進餐 廳，服務員會主動征詢客人的意見，然后引領客人前往所選擇的區域就餐。

　　在西餐廳就餐，菜單一般由三類不同的菜別組成。the first course 或者 starters 是指第一道菜，往往是湯、一小碟色拉或其它 小吃。第二道菜是主菜，fish and chips 是魚和炸土豆條，它同“roast beef and york shir pudding——牛 肉布丁”、“shepherd spie——牧羊人餡餅”一樣，都是典型的英國傳統菜肴。最后一道是甜食——或冷或熱，但都是甜的。西方飲食習慣是先吃咸 的，后吃甜的。西餐菜單名目繁多，有時不易讀懂。遇到這種情況，可以請服務員解釋一下。
