留學推薦信范例和注意事項
大多數學校都要求申請人提供二至三封推薦信。有力的推薦是錄取的重要條件之一。推薦信要客觀、公正、切忌流于形式，內容空洞，要與申請人的其它材料(如成績單)等相符。推薦信也應注意格式、文法等。因為向來有“名師出高徒”之說。推薦信的格式與一般書信基本相同。有信頭，發信日期，收信人姓名，稱呼，正文，信尾謙稱，簽名，推薦人姓名，職稱及工作單位等部分。但推薦信還應著重以下方面：
1.為了便于校方查閱，必須提到被推薦者的全名。
2.必須交待與被推薦者的認識期間(何時開始認識或認識多久)，認識程度(偶爾見面或密切接觸)及關系(師生關系，上下級關系，同事等)。
3.對被推薦者的優點介紹及評價，這是推薦信的核心。主要包括被推薦者的天賦，學習成績，研究能力，工作經驗，學習精神，組織能力，品行及個性方面。
4.必須表明推薦人的態度，是極力推薦還是有保留地推薦。
最近一些學校出于各種原因，設計了推薦表格，由推薦人填寫，但其主要內容也和推薦信涉及的相同。

寫作技巧
1、擇定推薦人選
在請主管、老師等撰寫推薦信前，都會有請“名人推薦”的想法，而所謂的名人，不僅是能耳熟能詳的政經界、學術界上的大名，若在其領域很活躍者，也是重點人物哦!找推薦者前，可以考慮以下幾點：
推薦都是名人可以加分嗎?
選擇最適合我的推薦者(而非最好的)
推薦者跟我的關系與公正性
推薦者跟申請學校的關系。
推薦信每個學校，約需2-3封。(若畢業多年，著重公司主管推薦信;若剛于學校畢業，則以學校教授推薦信為主)
推薦者最重要的考量是對申請者的了解，而不僅是推薦者本身的名氣。畢竟國外學校未必知道在國內有名的，推薦信的重點是您的優點且需熟悉申請者的學習情況、學習目的是否明確、適應能力、創造能力、品性和特長等。
2、了解英國留學推薦信內容的重點及方向
推薦信內容字數大約從250至300字之間，故如果在短短行字之間交待重點及方向;且也利于提供給推薦人相關的料。推薦者的全名與申請人的基本情況介紹。
交待推薦人與申請者的關系(認識期間、認識程度、關系)對申請者的基本評價(如：專業基礎、個性、品性、特點、工作態度、前途估計和實例)(也可適時提出較無傷大雅的缺點)(品性部分于之前履歷所提出Interest是相呼應的;因國外學校在乎學生是否身心健全、品格兼顧)(學校老師著重學業潛能;公司主管則強調實務應變能力)。
推薦人介紹申請人曾獲得獎勵、發表的論文、參加過重要學術會議，以及曾在學生組織或學術團中的任職來支持自己的評價。
推薦人必須清楚地表明被推薦人留學的身分是研究生還是訪問學者，專業領試域及研究方向。
3、準備二份英國留學推薦信
教授、名人、主管，通常十分忙碌，英文也不一定流利，故有時推薦人可能會要求申請人先擬好草稿，再來修改、簽名。在擬草稿或是正常文件時，注意如下：
推薦信要客觀、公正、切忌流于形式，內容空洞。
要與申請人的其它材料(如成績單)等相符。
應注意格式、文法等，內容力求精簡有力。
推薦信的格式與一般書信基本相同。有信頭，發信日期，收信人姓名，稱呼，正文，信尾謙稱，簽名，推薦人姓名，職稱及工作單位等部分。
注意學校是否有提供現成的推薦表格，是否利用問答的方式，直接讓推薦者作敘述和評價。
請推薦者寫推薦信：須溝通撰寫方式，由申請者擬草稿或是推薦人自行寫作;且盡可能的利用交談機會讓推薦人能明白的了解您，則在自行寫作或修改推薦信時，才能不會有不符合現狀的敘述產生。
完成英國留學推薦信注意下方是否有推薦者簽名，務必連同附帶的評量表作密封處理，在封口上簽名，以昭信校方。
